Vatika hair serum

I usually get questions about my hair care. So guys here I am with few amazing products reviews which i use myself in my hair care routine. ***hair serum for dry hair type*** Here is the review many of you were waiting for!
I got to know about the product from one of a friend a year ago and thought to give it a try as i have a frizzy hair inspite of wavy hair texture which is very annoying !
All you have to do is just take a pea size amount of serum on your palms and apply it over your semi damp hair after shower and comb your hair … I am using it since a half year now and to be very honest it kinda worked leaving some
stupid frizzy hair out. Also left my hair a little soft and not at all greasy .
this might help if your hairtype is dry & rough and not oily 🙂 i suppose. @vatika.arabia.

total 9/10

Otherwise the bottle looks class ❤️
*Usage – one bottle lasts me for 4 months. Depending on the hair length ( mines are medium) *Ideal for dry to combination hair type .. ( otherwise its little greasy) NO NO FOR OILY HAIR TYPE.

5 Alterations just got easy!

I am  sure, you have probably made a few trips to a tailor in your life to alter a dress or to shorten a pair of pants. (And if you’re petite, this errand is probably one with which you’re extremely familiar.) But these skilled artisans can do so much more than just hike up a hem.

Yusuf Bhai is Head  at Burhan Tailors, an old tailoring shop that literally sews your quality product, so you can check that errand off your list without actually having to run it. He let us in on a few tweaks that will go a long way toward reducing that seldom-worn pile of clothes that just never feel exactly right whenever you try them on.

1

Altering The Arm

While it may seem pretty obvious that you can have your sleeves made slimmer if they’re too big, there are a host of options for sleeves that are too small as well. If your garment is too tight near the armhole, the tailor can drop it to create more room. He can also use the extra fabric allowance in the seam to loosen the arms a bit, or even remove the sleeves completely to transform it into a tank style.

4

Adding A Zipper

That dress that you always avoid because it’s just too much of a struggle to get into? Your tailor can add a zipper to it—problem solved. For an edgy look, ask for an exposed zipper. Or, if you’d rather not change the appearance of the garment, stick to a hidden side zipper. One small caveat: Because this addition requires a little extra fabric allowance from within the garment, this alteration works best on pieces that are also being taken in. And, of course, your tailor can repair a broken zipper, so you can bring that old skirt back out of retirement.

5

Removing Pleats

Maybe you’re still holding onto a favorite pair of pants from a few (ok, a lot) of years ago, when pleat-fronts were all the rage. Or maybe they’re a recent purchase but those pleats just aren’t doing great things for your hips. Ask a tailor to take them out entirely, or reconstruct them to create a sleeker, more modern look, and then adjust the front of the pant to lay more smoothly (read: flatteringly).

Stitching in Dubai !

Clothes…

(Burhan Tailors since 1980)

Dubai is all about shopping , sightseeing, adventure and food..

Tourists and locallites often look for cloths and cheaper tailors here. You can find clothes of every style, color and price in Dubai. If you are looking for international shopping brands, these items are not tax free and are usually more expensive than if bought from their country of origin. For quality clothes, malls are the best places to visit and many stores go on sales at various times of the year. Wait for bargain sales if you can as you are likely to get great deals on quality items. You can also get some excellent pre-owned designed wear and bags at incredible rates at markets such as the Prime Dubai Designer Market, a monthly community event held on the second Saturday of every month. Although merchandise is second-hand, it is in great condition and much cheaper than you would find in stores. For exclusive hand made products that will not set you back a fortune, another great event is the ARTE, where you can find hand-made clothes, jewelry and many other hand-made items made by local artisans.

But when it comes to stitching garments … I have come across the best of tailor here.. Mr. Yusuf . He is a managing director of this tailoring shop, Burhan Tailors, since 1980 . I met this kind gentlemen at Deira,Dubai while i was searching for a perfection to my readymade garment i purchased from a mall which was not perfectly  fitting me and so i decided to alter it. Visited this tailoring shop was such a good experience where i was satisfied whith pricing and service. It is the cheapest best tailoring shop which is not much big but a small perhaps  a good place to visit nearby deira gold souq.

Well this was about clothing … keep waiting for my next blog coming up with food !!

Hands upp my foodies fans.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Why do The Holy Months of Rajab n Sha’baan appear before Maah-e Ramadhan Kareem????

As we all know, the months of Rajab-e Mojarrab And Sha’baan are highly spiritual months And it is stressed to pay special attention to Praying, Fasting, Amaals & Esteghfaar (the most effective sins evacuating actions); WHY?

…According to the Ma’sumeen (AS), These Months are a preparing ground for us to cleanse ourselves of all physical, mental, emotional, especially spiritual filth And to Strive to attain a certain level of Purity And Acceptance to Allah (SWTT), So that When the Doors to Special Mercies for the Believers And Cleansed ones are Opened on the Eve of the First Night of Maah-e Ramadhan, We can immediately enter And make the Most of being the Special Guests of Allah (SWTT) for the Maximum period from the Eve of Maah-e Ramadhan to the Eve of Eid Al-Fitr.

Point to take note is that these Doors are open for a maximum of 29 to 30 Days n Nights only (Depending on sighting of the Eid Moon), And since entering the  Doors automatically makes you the Special Guest of the Pure Lord for the Pure Month, we Must realise that NOONE CAN ENTER THE PURE DOORS UNLESS PURIFIED,  or at least cleansed And Forgiven for the atrocities committed in the Past.

In this context, if one starts Striving from these preliminary months and is cleansed during that time EnshaAllah, then by the Eve of Maah-e Ramadhan, as soon as the Special Doors open He enters as a Special Guest And enjoys the Special Bounties & Mercies for a longer time; And if one starts cleansing himself after the Eve of Maah-e Ramadhan has set in, then He will not immediately enter… He will enter When He has been cleansed, therefore, since He spent the first few days polishing, When He finally enters, his stay as the Special Guest of Allah (SWTT) Is relatively shorter.

This is Why the Holy Months of Rajab-e Mojarrab and Sha’baan are placed immediately before Maah-e Ramadhan and are given a great spiritual importance.

In OUR language, we call them “Warm up Months” In which we should work hard and Strive to Win the Forgiveness of Allah (SWTT) and Earn His Pleasure to be able to be accepted as His Special Guest as soon as the intake begins.

*********************************
In case we have wronged one another intentionally or unintentionally, let us Please forgive each other; if we are quick to forgive those who have wronged us, Allah (SWTT) in turn is quick to Pardon us.

THE LITTLE ORPHAN OF KARBALA

Must Read the Incident happened with the zair of Imam Hussain A..s
“THE LITTLE ORPHAN OF KARBALA”

Outside of the house we were staying in, a young boy sat on the hard cold floor selling small items for passing pilgrims.
What touched me the most was how humble he sat. Never once did he raise his head. Yet the whole time he smiled as he organized the head bands, small pins and flags he was selling. It wasn’t like any other smile, it was a smile of contentment; a smile of faith. His innocence and humbleness touched the core of my heart. His simplicity and honesty. I felt obliged to sit and talk to him for a few minutes.
I kneeled down and said, “Asalaamu Alaykum little one”. He looked up at me with the most purest smile, as if he was just waiting for someone to talk to him and replied, “Wa alaykum asalaam O’ pilgrim of Hussain. Welcome! Welcome!”. I asked him, “What’s your name?”. He replied, “Ahmed”. I asked him, “How old are you?”. He replied, “I’m 11 years old big brother. May God grant you long life to keep coming to Karbala.” At his reply I felt my throat tighten as I tried to hold back my tears. I asked him, “Why are you sitting out here in the cold by yourself?” He replied, “You see my brother, my mother and father were killed in a bomb blast as they were leaving Friday prayer to come home and now I am left to take care of my 4 sisters and 1 older brother who is handicap because of chemical poisoning.” His reply felt like a dagger to my heart and I could no longer hold the tears back and lowered my head in shame.
With his cold little hands he raised my head and wiped my tears and said, “Don’t cry big brother, for this is an honor for me. Don’t think we are alone. We are now the orphans of Aba Abdillah Al-Hussain (as) and I am the Abbas of my home. Is there a greater honor than this?”
I hugged him tightly, as if I never wanted to let go. As I was getting up he stretched his hand out and handed me a green piece of cloth from his collection. He said, “Big brother, take this gift from me and put it in your prayer rug but promise to remember me. Don’t forget, my name is Ahmed from Karbala.” And his smile is still ingrained in my heart.
I walked away knowing this was another lesson from God …
